What to do, What to do!!!

Today is the very last day of October already!  The temperature is cool, the leaves are falling rapidly.  I have a lot of work to do outside before the weather turns too cold.  What to do, what to do!  Here I sit midday posting an update on my Blog.  Why, you ask, am I sitting here instead of working outside?  Let me tell you why.  I put together this awesome Mini Kit and wanted to get it to you as quickly as I could.  I hope you enjoy it.  Time for me to get to it.

Play Time!

Ever heard of a machine called Scan N Cut?  I hadn't heard of it but when I happened to run across it I thought it sounded very interesting.  I researched it and decided that it was something that I wanted to try.  I purchased one and let me tell you, I love it.  This is no way an endorsement for it or an attempt to try to get anyone to go purchase one.  This is simply me telling about what I discovered for myself.

I don't know if you like to do the stamped Dolls.  I do, and they involve a lot of what is referred to as fussy cutting.  Not my favorite thing to do, but it comes with the job.  I stamped one image and cut it out leaving a small margin around it.  Wow!  I then stamped several images on a sheet of cardstock and ran it through the cutter with no margin.  It scanned them and then cut them out in no time at all.  I still need to fussy cut the arm and leg gaps, but oh my!  Unbelievable!  I WAS SOLD,  Love it.  Four cut out Dolls in a flash!

I know it is not quite that time yet, but I have moved on to winter wonderland items.  Today I bring you a winter Mini Kit.  Click HERE to download.

Spooktacular Season Freebies Continue

As I stated previously, I enjoy the Halloween Season.  With that said, I have put together some additional items for you. Spend some quality time with your little ones in the upcoming days.  Carve some pumpkins, paint pumpkins, or just visit the pumpkin patch.  Get excited with them as they prepare for Trick or Treat.  So many Churches and Organizations now have Trunk or Treat events so your children don't need to walk around to strangers.  Keep it fun, safe and enjoy the special moments.

October Special

Can you believe that it is almost the end of October already?  Where has this year gone?  That means that Halloween is right around the corner.  I love Halloween.  It isn't because of any symbolic reason either.  It is simply a time of year when families share quality time together picking out and carving pumpkins, deciding what to dress up as, putting aside all of the things that drive us apart, and spending time together just enjoying each other.  We interact with extended family as well, friends and community, all in a fun and festive manner.  It is just a great time of celebration of togetherness..

In celebration of that, to help all of you scrappers out there, I have put together a set of items that you can use on your pages, cards, or what ever.  Personal use only, enjoy.

Happy Halloween everyone!  Spook on!

Diet, Exercise and Scrapbooking - and a Freebie!

I am on a new quest to get back into shape.  Perhaps I should just say get into shape.  Who knows when the last time I was actually in shape was.  My daily routine now consists of healthier eating - not as easy as one would think, at least 30 minutes of daily exercise, movement is important, and play.  Can't work all of the time.  Those who know me know that besides gardening, I love to scrapbook.

Here is the newest Kit just released by Deanne from Scrapbookingdom.  It is called Grunge Guys.  As you can see from one of the pages I created, It isn't only for guys.  You can use it for gals, or many other projects.  This Kit is a little different than most of her Kits.  It was created as Sister Kits.  The Embellishment Kit is for PU, S4O and S4H, whereas the Paper Kit can also be used as CU.  Check out this new awesome Kit and all of her other gorgeous Kits in her Etsy Store.

Here are a few pages I made using these Kits.

Thanks for stopping by to see me today.  Here is a little Freebie I put together for you.  Click on the preview to download.

New Kits and Freebie

Hi All!  I cannot believe it is the middle of October already.  My Straw Bale Garden is just about done, cool weather has hit us, and I actually turned my furnace on yesterday.  UGH!  With that said, it is now time to think about what I can do to stay active as cold weather wants me want hybernate like a bear.  I joined the YMCA so maybe that will offer me opportunities to stay active and fit.  We'll see if I can drag myself out of the house and to the Y.  lol

Deanne from Scrapbookingdom has released some lovely new Kits recently called Afternoon Tea and Burnt Butter.  Makes me hungry just thinking about them.  You can find these gorgeous Kits along with all of the rest of her lovely Kits in her Etsy Store.

Here are the Kit Previews along with some pages I made using these beautiful Kits.

I recolored the flowers in this layout to match the green and yellow in my photos.
