New Softball Digital Kit by Scrapbookingdom and Freebie

Hello everyone!  It has been a while since my last post.  Life has been kind to me and has blessed me with lots to keep me busy.  I can't believe that it is May already.  It is time to get this years straw bale garden started.  My main issue so far is that when I have the free time, the weather is dismal.  When the weather is perfect, my schedule is busy.  I will get to it very soon. I spotted a snake on my patio a couple weeks ago.  Eeks!  I have never seen snakes in my yard before.  I will be nervous as I am working in my flower beds and garden for sure.  I am sure it was just a Garter snake, but hey, a snake is a snake, for Heaven's sake!

I attended a four day weekend Scrapbook Crop in West Virginia a couple weekends ago.  It was great to see some of the ladies that I met at previous crops.  Lots of fun.  My next one is in June in Ohio.  If you haven't tried these, I highly recommend finding one relatively close and giving it a try.

Deanne Gow-Smith from Scrapbookingdom has just released a new digital kit called Softball.  Just in time for this years Season.  I adore it.  My granddaughters play or have played Softball.  I can get a lot of great use out of this Kit.  It is also suitable for Baseball.  Check it out if you have any ball players in your family.  Stop by her Etsy Store to check out this Kit and all of her other gorgeous Kits.

Here are some preview of the Kit.  There are two kits, one for the embellishments, and another one with the papers.

Isn't it awesome?  I made a couple pages already using these gorgeous Kits.

Mothers Day is right around the corner.  In honor of all Mothers, I put together a Frame that I am giving as a freebie for stopping by to see me.  I hope you enjoy it.  Click on the Preview to download.

Patria Digital Kit and Freebie

Hi All,  Life has been keeping me busy this past week.  Christmas is quickly approaching.  Are you all ready?  I am as ready as I am going to be.  I still need to wrap a few things.

Deanne Gow-Smith has just released a gorgeous new Kit called Partia.  I adore it! You can purchase just the Paper Kit, which can be used for Creative Use, or just the Embellishment Kit, which is Personal Use only, or why not get them both?

Here are a couple pages I made with these Kits.

I have been busy practicing with Mixed Media again, and catching up on some scrapbooking and crafts.

This is a Mini Junk Journal Album I made from toilet paper rolls and food packaging.

Here is a little Brad I am offering today.  Click on the Preview to download.

Now I see you

I had my second eye surgery yesterday.  I went for my follow up exam this morning.  Everything is looking good.  I have 20/20 vision in both eyes now.  I have worn glasses since I was in grade school.  It is amazing to be able to open my eyes in the morning and see clearly.  Now I see you clearly!

Deanne Gow-Smith has released a new set of sister kits called Butterscotch.  The Embie Kit is for Personal Use only.  The sister Paper Kit can also be used for CU/S4H/S4O.  It is an adorable kit.  Pop over to her Etsy Store to see for yourself.

Here are some pages I made using this gorgeous Kit.

Today I put together a Mini Kit for you.  Click on the Preview to download.

My latest Card and Freebie

My oldest sister slipped and fell yesterday.  She broke her ankle in three places.  My heart goes out to her and her husband as she goes through surgery today and then a long healing process.  I made a card for her today to let her know that I am thinking of her.  If any of you could find it in your hearts to include her in your prayers that would be very appreciated.

Today I am giving you a Freebie flower.  Click on the preview to download.

Sunshine and Memories

I was browsing through some of the pages in my digital scrapbooking library today.  I ran across some of my favorites.  Some of them were made from Kits that are sadly no longer available.  I love using photos of my grandkids.  The first two pages below are some pages from the Golden Sheen Kit by Deanne Gow-Smith which is no longer available.  I love that Kit.

These next two pages were made from the Ivy Kit which is still available in her Etsy Store.

I guess I am just sitting here strolling down Memory Lane today.  The weather outside is far to cold and yucky for me to get anything done.  As usual, I end up on my laptop trying my hand at creating something to share with all of you.  Today, it is another Cluster Frame.  I hope you enjoy it.  Click on the Preview to download.

Friends and Family

I spent today pretty much just chilling at home.  My vision is improving each day.  While browsing on my social media page I ran across a picture posted by a Framily member.  Framily - (Friend and family)'  I thought it was simply lovely. Here is the picture they posted.  I loved it so much.  It inspired me to create a Mini Kit in their honor.

Here is the Mini Kit that was inspired by their picture.  They love Guinea pigs, and included them in their art work between the snowmen.  I also included them in my replica.

Cloudy soon to be Clear

Hi everyone.  I know I have been MIA for a bit.  I took some time away for the Thanksgiving Holiday with my family.  We ate way too much, which is normal on Thanksgiving Day.  We are blessed to have so much to be thankful for.  I travelled all day Friday so that I could visit with my son and grandson down South.  Fabulous weekend, great visit.  Yesterday I had cataract surgery on my right eye.  Needless to say, my vision is still cloudy and full of black floaters.  I pray it improves quickly.  I am having my left eye done next Tuesday.  I am so looking forward to getting to a point of clear vision.

I hope you all had wonderful times over the Holiday as well.  I must admit, I did do some Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping.  I am almost done with my Christmas shopping.  I have not done any Christmas decorating yet.  How many of you have your trees up already?  I do need to swap out the Turkey wreath for a Christmas wreath on my front door.  That will be my first sign of Christmas.  I also need to gather up all of the pumpkins and place in the compost pile.

Today I put together a little Christmas Flair for you.  I love Flairs.  I hope you do too.  Click on the preview to download it.
