Hi everyone! Today I am showing you an old favorite of mine by Fiona Storey from Angelwithin Designs and Scrapbook Max! This Set is called Iris. It is an adorable Set filled with shades of lavendars and blue-greens. The Template Set can be found in Fiona's Store at Scrapbook Max! Have you ever tried making your own pages from Template Sets? Just add a new page and copy and paste the papers and embies of your choice from the template pages to your new page. It is quite easy really. You should try it sometime. I have the Kit that is no longer available but most of the pieces are in the Template Set.

Here's a page I made using only this Kit. I used Scrapbook Max software. I brought the Flower embie in as a Paper scrap, customized it and colored it to match my Photo. The Metal Mat is from the Crystal embie enlarged and cropped. The strip borders at the bottom are from a strip of the Horse I cropped out and stretched. Use your imagination and you can turn a Kit of Embies into an entire layout.

New November Challenges at Crafty Scraps and Freebie

Here we are again. Another month is now behind us, with only two remaining for this year. Where has this year gone? For many of us November is the month for giving Thanks, celebrating family and paying taxes. We can forget about paying taxes and focus on more entertaining and fun things. The new monthly Challenges will start tomorrow at Crafty Scraps Forum. Come on over, check them out, and jump right in. There is lots of Fun to be had and lots of Freebies to collect.

Michelle Hosts an ongoing BINGO game. We are very close to the end of the current game. A new one will be starting any time. It is a very fun Thread. Lots of Humor and Fun. Make sure you get your Card from Michelle and join in on the Fun.

Kristal hosts a wonderful Brag Book Challenge each month. She tells us what Kit to use and we all make a brag book quick page. At the end of the month everyone gets all of the QP pages. Great collections.

Jana hosts a really fun Challenge called Snippet. She provides a collection of Kit previews from Michelle's Kits in her Store at Scrapbook Max. We have to find and name every kit. If we get it right Jana gives us n awesome Prize.

Happy weekend everyone! Boy has it been a busy week for me! Today I bring you something made from an old adorable Kit by Michelle McCoy from Crafty Scraps and ScrapbookMax!. This kit has been retired and is no longer available, but I still love it. So many of us have furry members of our families. Now the Template previews for those of you who are short on time or just love to be able to add a photo and your own wording and be done. Templates are an excellent way to get a lot of scrapping done in no time at all. You can use them as they are or customize them more to your needs.

New Challenges August 1st at Crafty Scraps Forum - Freebie DOWNLOAD corrected

Starting August 1st the Challenges at Crafty Scraps Forum will start back up. We will be downsizing a bit so it is easier for everyone to keep up. The favorite Challenges will stay. We are mixing it up on the Hosts a bit also. I will try my hand at the Template Challenge. Ever feel stuck and out of ideas on where to begin when designing your layout? Join me each month and I will share a new Template with you that will hopefully inspire your creativity. You will earn a participation prize for playing along as well. We all love freebies, don't we?

There will also be a Quick Page Challenge hosted by Jana. If you love QP's you want to be sure to participate every month in this Challenge. At the end of the month you will get all of the QP's entered in the Challenge free. Wow, what a prize!.
